This feature is available only to Members of Creditlock.com, subject to the conditions listed below.
Members who sign up for this service will receive an email reminder, every 90 days, starting from the date indicated below on the Fraud Alerts Reminders Request Form . Such reminders will remind Members that they can request directly from the three credit Reporting agencies that Fraud Alerts continue to be placed on their Credit Report.
When you ask a Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) to place a Fraud Alert on your Credit Report, you are notifying the Credit Reporting Agency that you have been, or suspect to be, a victim of Identity Theft; this encourages the Credit Reporting Agency to take steps to safeguard your report against fraud. Such steps include asking Creditors to verify your identity, through direct contact, prior to issuing Credit in your name. Initial Fraud Alerts are usually active for 90 days.
